But I'm just praising the LORD that regardless of any mistakes I made, and despite my failures, real or perceived, that God is able to do exceeding and abundantly above all we think or ask.
The real challenge for me now is to trust Him for grace to keep looking at the big picture....to keep eternity in view.
From the moment we knew a baby was on the way, our constant prayer was that God would use that child for His Glory. We prayed that our children would reach those we could not reach, and that they would go to where we were not able to go, to give the glorious Gospel to the lost.
God has answered our prayers. We were not fully prepared for the way He answered them, but we are thrilled that He did. I am so thankful that my children want to serve their Saviour and are willing to sacrifice their own desires and dreams, for Him. What more could a parent ask for?
Dear Moms, on those days when you just want to give up, or you think God doesn't hear, or doesn't care, I assure you that He does. He is hard at work in the hearts of your children wooing, pruning, purging, preparing them for what He purposes them to do for Him. I know this to be so. It is a part of my legacy now. It will be a part of your legacy to, if you remain faithful, and trust the LORD to guide and direct you and enable you to do what He's called you to do--be a Mom.
